The Way Here
Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City is around one hundred and thirty kilometres away, usually two and a half to three hours by car. Private transfers and taxis are the most practical options. Traffic leaving the city can be very heavy on weekends. Leaving early saves considerable time.
Long Thanh International Airport, under development near Biên Hòa, will shorten travel times once fully operational. Checking its current flight availability is recommended.
The Biên Hòa to Vũng Tàu expressway and coastal roads connect Ho Tram with Ho Chi Minh City. Some sections are still under construction.
High speed boats link Ho Chi Minh City with Vũng Tàu in about two hours, from where taxis reach Ho Tram in around one hour.
Buses run from Ho Chi Minh City to Xuyên Mộc and Bình Châu, but the final distance to the resort requires a taxi.
Motorbike rental is the easiest way to explore locally. Roads are generally quiet in the countryside.
During the rainy season from May to October, short heavy storms can flood roads briefly.
